Member Terms of Use
Last Updated: 4 August 2026
These Terms cover members using the FightKit Member Portal and mobile app. If you’re a school owner or staff member looking for the terms that apply to your use of FightKit, see our Terms of Service instead.
1. Introduction
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the FightKit Member Portal and the FightKit mobile app for members (the “Member Services”). They apply to members, parents, guardians, and other authorised users invited by a martial arts school using FightKit (“School”). FightKit Ltd (“FightKit”, “we”, “us”) provides the Member Services to the School; we are not a party to your membership agreement with the School. By using the Member Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them — you can still contact your School directly.
2. Your relationship with your School
- Your School is responsible for your membership, bookings, payments, and other services provided to you. FightKit provides the technology platform on behalf of the School.
- Your membership, any fees you owe, class attendance, bookings, and school-specific rules (including liability waivers or codes of conduct) are governed by your agreement with your School, not by FightKit.
- The Member Services let you view your membership and schedule, manage bookings and payment methods, and communicate with your School — they do not create any separate contract between you and FightKit for those services.
- If you have a question or dispute about your membership, fees, bookings, or attendance, contact your School directly. FightKit cannot change your membership terms, issue refunds, or resolve billing disputes on your School’s behalf.
3. Eligibility and account access
- The Member Services are intended for use by adult members, or by a parent or guardian managing a child’s membership on their behalf.
- You’re responsible for keeping your login details secure and for any activity that happens through your account.
- Your School controls who has access to the Member Services for their students — access can be granted, changed, or removed by your School at any time.
4. Payments
- Where your School collects payment through the Member Services, payments are processed securely through Stripe, our payment processor.
- Your School — not FightKit — is the merchant of record for your membership payments, and is responsible for billing, refunds, and any payment disputes.
- You agree to keep your payment details valid and up to date so your School can collect any fees you owe them.
5. Acceptable use
When using the Member Services, you agree not to:
- Use them for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Attempt to access another member’s account or data.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Member Services’ functionality or security.
6. Data and privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use data through the Member Services on behalf of your School. Your School is responsible for the accuracy of the information they hold about you, including any medical or emergency contact details entered into the Member Services.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Member Services available and working as expected, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted access. The Member Services are provided “as is” — we’re not responsible for any disruption to your ability to view your schedule, manage payment methods, or communicate with your School through them, though we’ll work to resolve issues promptly.
8. Ending access
Your access to the Member Services ends when your School removes you (for example, if your membership ends) or when you stop being a member of your School. This doesn’t affect any obligations you have directly to your School.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Member Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England.
11. Contact us
If you have questions about the Member Services themselves, contact us at legal@fightkit.co. For questions about your membership, fees, or attendance, please contact your School directly.
