Built around how BJJ promotions work

Promotions in Brazilian jiu-jitsu are slow and earned on the mat. Adults can spend years at a belt, with stripes marking progress in between — and in most academies it’s the coach who decides when someone’s ready.

FightKit keeps track of the part that’s hard to hold in your head. Set how long and how many classes each belt or stripe takes, and FightKit counts the time and attendance since each student’s last promotion. When you’re planning stripes for the end of the month, you can see who’s close — instead of scrolling back through attendance sheets or relying on memory.

The decision stays yours. FightKit never promotes anyone automatically: you record the promotion when you award it, and the count starts again.

Kids’ belts, done properly

Kids’ BJJ uses its own belt system — grey, yellow, orange and green belts, many of them two-tone — before students move onto the adult belts. FightKit lets you run the kids’ system and the adult system side by side, with two-tone belts and stripes on both, so every student’s rank shows exactly as they wear it.

Gi, no-gi and open mats

Set up your timetable once — gi, no-gi, kids, competition training and open mats — organised into groups, across as many venues as you run. Mark attendance in seconds, and every class a student attends counts towards their next stripe.

From trial class to member

Most new students start with a trial class. FightKit takes them from enquiry to paying member:

Memberships and payments

Create memberships for adults and kids, and take payments automatically with Stripe — or record cash and bank transfers. Members can manage their membership and billing in the FightKit app for iPhone and Android.
