Where FightKit is different

Pricing that grows more slowly

Both FightKit and Kicksite include every feature on every plan and price by the number of students. The difference is how quickly the price climbs. A school with 60 students pays $79 a month on FightKit and $149 on Kicksite — that's $840 a year back in your school. The two only meet at the top, where both charge $199 a month.

Start today, without a demo

Kicksite asks you to book a demo before you get started. With FightKit you sign up yourself and start a 30-day free trial straight away — no sales call, no contract and no setup fee. If you'd like a walkthrough, we're happy to give you a demo.

From enquiry to paying member in one place

Kicksite covers lead capture and automated messaging. FightKit is built around the whole journey from enquiry to membership:

  • Enquiry and trial booking forms on your website, so people can book a trial class themselves
  • Two-way email conversations — every email with a lead shows up in one thread inside FightKit
  • Automated follow-ups when someone enquires, books a trial, or doesn't turn up
  • Pre-filled registration links — their details are already in, so they just pick a membership and pay

Payments your way

FightKit takes automated payments through Stripe, which works in the UK, US, Australia and many other countries, in your local currency. Prefer cash or bank transfer? Record those payments in FightKit too.

A member app

FightKit includes an iPhone and Android app where members can check their membership, see the timetable and manage their billing.

When Kicksite might suit you better

FightKit isn't the right fit for every school. Kicksite may suit you better if:

  • You rely on text messages. Kicksite includes free unlimited one-way texting. FightKit only sends email for now.
  • You want someone to build your website. Kicksite offers website design as a separate service. FightKit plugs into the website you already have.
  • You'd rather start with a sales demo. Kicksite begins every account with a demo call. FightKit lets you sign up and explore on your own — and if you'd like a walkthrough, we're happy to give you a demo.

Switching from Kicksite

Moving to FightKit doesn't mean starting again. Export your students from Kicksite and import them into FightKit in bulk from a CSV file. Then set up your memberships and timetable.

Payment details are held by Kicksite's payment processor, so ask Kicksite whether they can transfer them. If not, send members a registration link with their details already filled in — they just confirm their membership and add a payment method.

Frequently asked questions

Is FightKit cheaper than Kicksite?

For most school sizes, yes. A school with 51–100 students pays $79 a month on FightKit and $149 on Kicksite; with 101–250 students it's $119 against $199. At 250+ students both cost $199 a month. Both include all features on every plan.

Do I need to book a demo to try FightKit?

No. You can sign up and start a 30-day free trial straight away, with no contract or setup fee. Kicksite asks you to book a demo to get started.

Can I move my students from Kicksite to FightKit?

Yes. Export your students from Kicksite and import them into FightKit in bulk from a CSV file. Payment details are held by Kicksite's payment processor, so ask Kicksite whether they can be transferred — otherwise members set up their payment again using a registration link with their details already filled in.

Does FightKit track belts and gradings?

Yes. FightKit tracks each student's rank, lets you set out the curriculum for every rank, and groups gradings into grading sessions.

Does FightKit send text messages?

Not yet — FightKit messages students and leads by email. If texting is central to how you run your school, Kicksite's free unlimited texting is a genuine advantage.
