Where FightKit is different

Pay for the size of school you are

Spark costs $199 a month, whatever the size of your school. FightKit charges by the number of students, with every feature on every plan:

• Up to 20 students: $29 a month on FightKit — $2,040 a year less than Spark
• Up to 100 students: $79 a month — $1,440 a year less
• Up to 250 students: $119 a month — $960 a year less

Above 250 students, both cost $199 a month.

Built for martial arts schools

Spark serves martial arts schools alongside dance studios, gymnastics schools, yoga studios and CrossFit boxes. FightKit is built only for martial arts schools — ranks, curricula and grading sessions are part of how it works, not an add-on.

From enquiry to paying member in one place

FightKit takes people from first enquiry to paying member:

• Enquiry and trial booking forms on your website, so people can book a trial class themselves
• Two-way email conversations — every email with a lead shows up in one thread inside FightKit
• Automated follow-ups when someone enquires, books a trial, or doesn't turn up
• Pre-filled registration links — their details are already in, so they just pick a membership and pay

Payments your way

FightKit takes automated payments through Stripe, which works in the UK, US, Australia and many other countries, in your local currency. Prefer cash or bank transfer? Record those payments in FightKit too.

When Spark might suit you better

FightKit isn't the right fit for every school. Spark may suit you better if:

• You rely on text messages. Spark includes two-way texting for lead replies, class reminders and rescheduling. FightKit only sends email for now.
• You want marketing tools built in. Spark includes a no-code landing page and funnel builder alongside automated email and text campaigns. FightKit plugs into the website you already have.
• You want your setup done for you. Spark assigns an account representative and migrates your student data for free. With FightKit you import your students and memberships yourself — and if you'd like a walkthrough, we're happy to give you a demo.
• You want a kiosk for check-in. Spark includes a kiosk check-in app.
• You run more than martial arts. If your school also runs dance or gymnastics programmes, Spark covers those too.

Switching from Spark

Moving to FightKit doesn't mean starting again. Export your students from Spark and import them into FightKit in bulk from a CSV file. Then set up your memberships and timetable.

Payment details are held by Spark's payment processor, so ask Spark whether they can transfer them. If not, send members a registration link with their details already filled in — they just confirm their membership and add a payment method.
