Defining techniques

Techniques make up your curriculum — the skills students need to master to progress through your rank system. Go to Learning → Techniques and click Add technique.

Fields

• Name — the name of the technique, e.g. "Armbar" or "Front kick"
• Ranks — which rank in each rank system this technique is associated with. A technique can be assigned to a different rank in each of your rank systems
• Included in gradings — which ranks this technique should appear in when grading. Defaults to all ranks from the selected rank and above
• Description (optional) — any notes or details about the technique

Organising techniques

On the Techniques page you can filter by rank system and rank. When a specific rank is selected, you can drag and drop techniques to set the order they appear in gradings.
