Billing

Memberships

Set up memberships and pricing plans so students can sign up.

Memberships define what students are signing up for — for example "Adult BJJ" or "Kids Karate". Each membership has pricing plans (monthly, annual, etc.) that students choose between when registering.

Create a membership

Go to Billing → Memberships and click Add membership. You'll see two sections on the same page: membership details and pricing plans.

Membership details

  • Name — what students will see on the registration page, e.g. "Adults Krav Maga — Once a week"
  • Status — active memberships are available for new sign-ups. Archive a membership when you no longer want new students to join it, but want existing members to keep their current plan (grandfathering)
  • Description — optional, shown on the registration page to help students understand what's included
  • Maximum students — how many students can share this membership. Set to 1 for individual memberships, or higher for family or sibling memberships

Pricing plans

Add one or more plans to set the price and billing interval. Each plan has:

  • Nickname — e.g. "Monthly" or "Annual"
  • Price — the amount charged per billing period
  • Currency — the currency to charge in
  • Billing interval — how often to charge (monthly, every 3 months, annually, etc.)

You can add multiple plans to offer students a choice — for example a monthly and an annual option at a discounted rate.

Click Create membership when you're done.

How students can sign up

Fastest setup

Go to Billing → Memberships and copy the link next to the membership. Students can choose from any pricing plan on that membership and sign up straight away, no extra setup needed.

More structured

If you have groups set up (e.g. Kids Karate or Adults Taekwondo), you can share a group registration link — students can then choose from any membership that includes that group. To assign a group to a membership, go to Billing → Memberships and click Edit in the Groups column. Once a group has at least one membership assigned, a registration link will appear on the Groups page.
